The Aditya Birla Group's cement figures for March 2005

The Aditya Birla Group's cement production at 262.72 lakh MT in April-March 2005 is up by 5.61 per cent over last year. Grasim's cement production stood at 133.50 lakh MT and UltraTech's at 129.21 lakh MT.

The Aditya Birla Group's cement production at 25.31 lakh MT in March 2005 is 10.10 per cent ahead of March 2004. Grasim's cement production was 12.34 lakh MT and UltraTech's at 12.97 lakh MT.

The Aditya Birla Group's cement dispatches at 262.60 lakh MT between April to March 2005 rose by 5.44 per cent while clinker dispatches stood at 29.65 lakh MT.

Grasim cement recorded dispatches at 133.79 lakh MT and clinker dispatches at 2.96 lakh MT. UltraTech cement reported dispatches at 128.81 lakh MT and clinker dispatches at 26.69 lakh MT between April to March 2005.

The Aditya Birla Group's cement dispatches at 25.81 lakh MT in March 2005, is higher by 10.3 per cent than the same month last year. Clinker dispatches stood at 1.56 lakh MT in March 2005.

Grasim's cement dispatches were to the tune of 12.56 lakh MT and clinker dispatches at 0.29 lakh MT. UltraTech cement dispatches were at 13.25 lakh MT and clinker dispatches at 1.27 lakh MT in March 2005.
