Mr. Pankaj Razdan appointed as deputy CEO, financial services of the Aditya Birla Group

Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Group, today announced the appointment of Mr. Pankaj Razdan as Deputy CEO, Financial Services of the Aditya Birla Group.

Mr. Razdan will be part of the core think tank, that strategises and operationalises the Group's growth in the financial services business. While he will help oversee some of the Group's existing businesses, he will also be responsible for building some of the new lines that the Group is exploring.

Mr. Razdan will report to Mr. Ajay Srinivasan, the chief e;xecutive officer of the Group's financial services.

Prior to joining the Aditya Birla Group, Mr. Razdan was the managing director of Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company. Joining them in 1998, he rose to become the managing director in 2004.
