Grasim cement production at 10.89 lakh MT; up 4.65 per cent for December 2003

Grasim, the Aditya Birla Group flagship Company, has reported a rise of 4.65% in cement production at 10.89 lakh MT for the month of December 2003, while dispatches at 11.09 lakh MT are up by 7.42% over December 2002.

Cement production for the period April - December 2003, has moved up by 6.02% at 93.07 lakh MT as against 87.78 lakh MT during April - December 2002. Alongside, dispatches rose by 6.21% at 93.19 lakh MT as against 87.74 lakh MT in the corresponding period last year.
