Grasim cement production at 10.17 lakh MT, up 8.88% for November 2003

Grasim, the Aditya Birla Group flagship Company, has reported a rise of 8.88% in cement production at 10.17 lakh MT for the month of November 2003, while despatches at 10.12 lakh MT are up by 7.58% over November 2002.

The cement production for the period April - November 2003 moved up by 6.21% at 82.17 lakh MT as against 77.36 lakh MT during April - November 2002. Alongside, despatches rose by 6.05% at 82.09 lakh MT as against 77.41 lakh MT in the corresponding period last year.
