Cement Production / Dispatch Numbers for April 2005

The Aditya Birla Group cement production grew by 8.79 per cent at 24.67 lakh mt for April 2005. Grasim's cement production was reported at 12.01 lakh mt while UltraTech stood at 12.66 lakh mt.

The Aditya Birla Group's cement dispatches rose by 9.82 per cent at 24.77 lakh mt in April 2005 vis-à-vis the corresponding period in 2004, while clinker dispatches was 1.44 lakh mt in April 2005. Grasim's cement dispatches stood at 11.86 lakh mt while clinker dispatches were 0.41 lakh mt. UltraTech cement dispatches stood at 12.90 lakh mt while clinker dispatches were to the tune of 1.02 lakh mt in April 2005.
