Novelis, a pioneer in aluminium recycling has joined The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and the Atlanta Falcons to launch an initiative called Recycle for Good

Novelis, an Aditya Birla Group company, is the world leader in aluminium recycling. Two years ago, Novelis joined The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and the Atlanta Falcons to launch an initiative called Recycle for Good. For every 3 million aluminum bottles and cans collected, Recycle for Good funds a Habitat for Humanity home in its entirety for a deserving family in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. In 2016, through the collection of three million cans totalling $80,000, Ms. Rashawn A. Medley received a new home for her family.

For years, Rashawn had shared a one-bedroom apartment with her two daughters. With the help of Recycle for Good, the family was able to build a new house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Rashawn’s home is the first of many that Novelis hopes to help build using the proceeds from recycled aluminum bottles and cans.
