Canada

Aditya Birla Group maintains a diverse presence across multiple sectors in Canada through its subsidiaries, including Novelis, Birla Carbon, Grasim and Aditya Birla Global Trading.
Novelis, a global leader in the production of flat-rolled aluminium products, operates a facility in Kingston, situated at the eastern end of Lake Ontario in Canada. This site, deeply rooted in the Kingston community for over 70 years, specialises in manufacturing speciality and industrial products for applications such as marine and transportation. Equipped with uniquely designed cold rolling, finishing, and annealing equipment, the facility focuses on producing automotive sheet and speciality surfaces.
AV Group NB, an integral part of Grasim, the pulp and fibre business of Aditya Birla Group, boasts a significant presence across Canada. Located in New Brunswick, this company comprises two dissolving pulp mills—the Atholville Mill, specialising in cellulose pulp, and the Nackawic Mill, a hardwood kraft mill. These mills play a crucial role in producing high-content dissolving pulp or specialty cellulose used in manufacturing natural-based viscose staple fibre. This fibre, in turn, is utilised in the apparel and home textile industry. Most of the pulp produced by AV Group is supplied to Aditya Birla Group's viscose plants in India, Indonesia, and Thailand.
Additionally, Aditya Birla Group's carbon black flagship, Birla Carbon, has a well-established presence in Canada with a manufacturing facility located in Hamilton, Ontario. Canada is also a key market for the trading business of the group – Aditya Birla Global Trading.
