<p>Aditya Birla Group is a leading player in the recycling of aluminium in United Kingdom (UK).</p><p>Aleris Aluminium UK, part of Novelis, has a dedicated recycling unit at Latchford. The recycling plant at Latchford was opened in 1991, and currently recycles Used Beverage Can (UBC) and Automotive. Prior to that, a range of aluminium scrap had been processed on the site beginning in the 1940s. Today, the plant has the capacity to recycle around 200,000 tonnes of aluminium.&nbsp;</p>
