IIT-B and the Birla visit

On Sunday morning, the matriarch of the Aditya Birla Group, Mrs. Rajashree Birla, was seen at the IIT Bombay campus. She was attending the three-day Design &; Degree show hosted by Industrial Design Centre (IDC), where she was a key speaker. In her address, Mrs. Birla gave motivational insights. The CSR arm of Aditya Birla Group, which she chairs, has been one of the corporate sponsors for the institute’s 1 Million Solar Urja Lamp project. The lamps, designed by IDC, are to be distributed in rural areas.
